Thirty-Nine Big Ten Players Selected in MLB Draft

ROSEMONT, Ill. – A total of 39 players with ties to the Big Ten Conference were selected in the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft presented by Nike, which took place July 13-14 at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Cumberland, Georgia.

Mitch Voit of Michigan went 38th overall to the New York Mets as one of six players chosen in the first three rounds on Sunday. Sixteen Big Ten institutions had players selected with Indiana producing a conference-high six picks (which includes an incoming player) while Oregon and Penn State had five each.

Big Ten Conference Recognizes 111th Medal of Honor Class

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference is celebrating its 111th class of recipients who earned the Big Ten Medal of Honor from their respective institutions during the 2024-25 academic year. Established in 1915, the Big Ten Medal of Honor is the conference’s most prestigious award. It was the first award in intercollegiate athletics to demonstrate support for the educational emphasis placed on athletics.

The Big Ten Medal of Honor is awarded to one male and one female student-athlete from the graduating class of each member institution who has demonstrated excellence on and off the field throughout their collegiate career. This year’s class comprised student-athletes from 15 sports.

Big Ten schools currently feature more than 11,000 student-athletes, but only 36 earn the award on an annual basis. Since the Big Ten Medal of Honor was first presented more than a century ago, just over 1,680 student-athletes have earned this unique distinction. Those names are on permanent display at the Big Ten Office in Rosemont.

UCLA’s Season Ends with 7-3 Loss to Arkansas at Men’s College World Series

OMAHA, Neb. – The UCLA baseball season concluded Tuesday evening with a 7-3 loss to third-ranked Arkansas at the Men’s College World Series.

The seventh-ranked Bruins (48-18) scored all their runs in the ninth on an RBI from AJ Salgado, an Arkansas throwing error, and a wild pitch.

Coach John Savage’s squad finishes the season with 48 wins, tied for fourth-most in program history. The Bruins’ appearance in the MCWS was the third for the Big Ten since 1985, following Michigan’s runner-up effort in 2019 and Indiana’s berth in 2013.

Tonight’s action at Charles Schwab Field Omaha also closed athletic competition for the Big Ten Conference in 2024-25, a campaign that produced 10 national championships.

UCLA falls to LSU, 9-5, at Men’s College World Series

OMAHA, Neb. — UCLA suffered its first loss in the Men’s College World Series with a 9-5 setback to second-ranked LSU Tuesday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

Today’s game resumed in the top of the fourth inning after being suspended last night due to a 2-hour, 53-minute weather delay.

UCLA (48-17) scored three runs in the first inning before LSU (50-15) responded with four runs in the bottom frame, to stake a lead it never relinquished. The loss snapped the Bruins’ six-game win streak in NCAA postseason play.

Seventh-ranked UCLA will meet third-ranked Arkansas in an elimination game tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN. It will mark the first doubleheader for the Bruins this season.

OMAHA, Neb. – UCLA remained perfect in NCAA postseason play, defeating Murray State, 6-4, on the second day of the Men’s College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

The seventh-ranked Bruins (48-16) will meet LSU on Monday at 7 p.m. ET.

LF Dean West and 2B Phoenix Call recorded multiple-hit games for UCLA while starter Michael Barnett allowed three hits, an earned run and struck out four batters over 4.2 innings. Five pitchers came out of the bullpen to nail down the win.

Today’s game marked a return to Charles Schwab Field Omaha for UCLA, which posted a 3-1 record during the Big Ten Tournament Presented by IFS.ai in late May.

UCLA Advances to Men's College World Series

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The UCLA baseball team won the NCAA Super Regional in Los Angeles Sunday to earn a spot in the Men’s College World Series, which begins Friday in Omaha, Neb. It will be UCLA’s sixth appearance in the CWS.

UCLA defeated the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), 7-0, at Jackie Robinson Stadium, completing a two-game sweep of the Roadrunners. The seventh-ranked Bruins (47-16) return to the CWS for the first time since winning the national title in 2013. They also become the first Big Ten team to qualify for the CWS since Michigan in 2019.

Head Coach John Savage, in his 21^st season at UCLA, will be taking his fourth team to Omaha, having advanced squads in 2010, 2012, 2013 and now 2025.

New Era Begins As House Settlement Approved

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 6, 2025 – Today marks a historic milestone for college athletics in the United States. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has granted final approval to a settlement in the House v. NCAA (“House”) litigation. This landmark settlement – agreed to by plaintiffs representing nearly 400,000 current and former student-athletes and the NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big Ten Conference, Big 12 Conference, Pac-12 Conference and Southeastern Conference (SEC) – will reshape the landscape of college sports, paving the way for a model that prioritizes fairness, stability, integrity and opportunity for student-athletes and institutions.

Overseeing this model will be the newly established College Sports Commission – an independent body that will be responsible for implementing the settlement terms governing revenue sharing, student-athlete Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deals and roster limits. The Commission will investigate any potential violations of these rules, make determinations regarding potential rules violations and penalties, provide notice and opportunity to be heard, participate in the arbitration process and ultimately administer penalties for violations of these rules. The Commission’s leadership team will be announced in the near future.

Under the new system, student-athletes will have more opportunities to financially benefit during their participation in intercollegiate athletics than ever before. Institutions are now able to share revenue directly with student-athletes, in addition to providing existing benefits such as athletic scholarships, access to world-class training facilities, academic counseling, medical care, post-eligibility medical coverage, mental health resources, nutritional guidance and life skills development.

Beginning July 1, 2025, each year, participating schools can distribute up to 22% of the average revenue among schools in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC from media rights, ticket sales, and sponsorships – known as the revenue sharing cap. The cap is estimated at $20.5 million per school for the 2025-26 academic year, pending final confirmation. To ensure revenue sharing with student-athletes is appropriately managed and reported to the Court for compliance, athletics departments will use the new College Athlete Payment System (CAPS) platform developed by LBi Software.

Student-athletes will also be able to continue receiving compensation from third-parties other than their institutions for the use of their NIL, so long as their NIL deals are made with the purpose of using their NIL for a valid business purpose and do not exceed a reasonable range of compensation. On behalf of the College Sports Commission, Deloitte* has built and will maintain a new technology platform called NIL Go in which student-athletes will be required to report their NIL deals to confirm they are in compliance with the rules. Deals will be evaluated based on:

Payor association – The relationship between the payor and the student-athlete’s school.
Valid business purpose – Whether the payor is seeking the use of the student-athlete’s NIL for a valid business purpose, meaning to sell a good or service to the public for profit.
Range of compensation – Whether the compensation paid to the student-athlete is commensurate with compensation paid to similarly situated individuals.

Finally, for participating schools, NCAA scholarship limits have been removed and roster limits have been established for each sport, allowing for a significant increase in scholarship opportunities for student-athletes. Under this new model, schools will have the option to offer partial or full scholarships to every student-athlete on a team’s roster, as long as the total number of student-athletes stays within the sport’s specific roster limit. Efforts have also been made to ensure current and immediately incoming student-athletes are not adversely impacted by the establishing of roster limits. Removing scholarship limits allows schools to better support their student-athletes through new scholarships, particularly in non-revenue-generating sports.

“We look forward to implementing this historic settlement designed to bring stability, integrity and competitive balance to college athletics while increasing both scholarship and revenue opportunities for student-athletes in all sports,” said Tony Petitti, Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference.

“This is a significant moment for college athletics that will provide unparalleled opportunities for student-athletes. We look forward to implementing this new system which offers much-needed transparency and structure to create a more sustainable model for the long-term future of college athletics,” said Jim Phillips, Ph.D., Commissioner of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

“As we enter this new era of college athletics, it is crucial we do so with structure, transparency, and the success of student-athletes in mind — this settlement and new model will ensure that happens. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to implement this new system that prioritizes fairness and opportunity for all student-athletes and institutions," said Brett Yormark, Commissioner of the Big 12 Conference.

"It's a new day in collegiate athletics. This historic moment allows us to maintain what makes college sports special, the development of young individuals through sport, while also evolving to meet today's student-athletes where they are with new opportunities in a manner that provides long-term stability for collegiate athletics. I am proud to work alongside my colleagues as we implement and introduce the future of college sports,” said Teresa Gould, Commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference.

“The approval of the House settlement agreement represents a significant milestone for the meaningful support of our student-athletes and a pivotal step toward establishing long-term sustainability for college sports, two of the Southeastern Conference’s top priorities. July 6, 2025: Opt-in schools must “designate” student-athletes permitted by the settlement to remain above roster limits.
July 1, 2025: First date for direct institutional revenue sharing payments to student-athletes.
Start of 2025-26 academic year: With the exception of the “designated” student-athletes, Fall sports must be at or below roster limits by their first day of competition.
December 1, 2025: With the exception of “designated” student-athletes, Winter and Spring sports must be at or below roster limits by their first day of competition or Dec. 1, whichever is earlier.

Four Big Ten Teams Selected for the NCAA Baseball Championship

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Four Big Ten teams have qualified for the 78th NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, which opens May 30-June 2 at 16 regional sites. Nebraska received the conference's automatic berth after winning the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday while Oregon, UCLA and USC received at-large berths into the 64-team field.

Oregon (42-14), the No. 12 seed overall, will host the Eugene Regional and meet Utah Valley (32-27) on Friday at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The winner will face either Arizona (39-18) or Cal Poly (41-17). The Ducks, who have played in back-to-back Super Regionals, are making their fifth-straight trip to the NCAAs and their 12th appearance overall.

No. 15 seed UCLA (42-16) stays home to host the Los Angeles Regional, encountering Fresno State (31-27) on Friday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The winner meets either UC Irvine (41-15) or Arizona State (35-22). The Bruins, who won a share of the Big Ten regular season title, will be making their 26th NCAA appearance all-time and their first since 2022. UCLA captured a national championship in 2013.

USC (35-21) travels to the Corvallis Regional and takes on TCU (39-18) on Friday at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The winner squares off against either No. 8 seed Oregon State (42-12-1) or Saint Mary’s (35-24). The Trojans earn their 42nd trip to the NCAA Tournament having won 12 national championships (their last in 1998). It is USC’s first NCAA berth since 2015.

Nebraska (32-27) heads to the Chapel Hill Regional to play Oklahoma (35-20) on Friday at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The winner meets either No. 5 seed North Carolina (42-12) or Holy Cross (31-25). The Cornhuskers are making their second-straight NCAA appearance and their 19th overall.

Sixteen teams will advance from the double-elimination regionals to eight super regional sites scheduled for June 6-9. The Men's College World Series takes place June 13-22 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Neb.

OMAHA, Neb. – No. 8 seed Nebraska jumped to an early lead and received solid pitching to post a 5-0 shutout of No. 2 seed UCLA in the championship game of the 2025 Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai. The Cornhuskers became the lowest seed to win the tournament, playing in front of 15,139 fans Sunday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

The Cornhuskers (32-27) are also the first team since Indiana in 2013-14 to repeat as tournament champions, extending their win streak in Omaha to nine games. Nebraska receives the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Selection Show will air at noon ET Monday on ESPN2.

Nebraska starter Ty Horn tossed a three-hitter over eight innings, fanning six batters in a 118-pitch effort. DH Devin Nunez blasted a two-run homer as the Cornhuskers pushed five runs across in the first three innings for all the run production they would need.

UCLA (42-16) finished with a 3-1 record in its debut appearance in the Big Ten Tournament. Sophomore shortstop Roch Cholowsky was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

OMAHA, Neb. — Teams are set for the championship game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai following a tripleheader at Charles Schwab Field on Saturday. No. 2 seed UCLA will meet No. 8 seed Nebraska at 2 p.m. tomorrow with an NCAA berth on the line. The Cornhuskers won twice on Saturday to advance to the final.

Nebraska began the day by posting a 7-3 win over No. 1 seed Oregon in a game postponed last night. The Cornhuskers won their pool with a 2-0 record. Leadoff hitter Riley Silva went 3-for-4 for Nebraska while pitcher Jackson Brockett allowed one run over six innings. Anson Aroz recorded three hits for the second-ranked Ducks (42-14), who saw their 11-game winning streak snapped.

In the first semifinal, UCLA strung together 14 hits in a 9-3 victory over Iowa, who was appearing in the semis for the third time in four years. The Bruins (42-15) scored five times in the fourth to break the game open. UCLA's Roch Cholowsky connected on his 23rd home run of the season and executed a rare bunt double against a defensive shift. Iowa (32-22-1) received two hits and two RBI from senior Andy Nelson.

The second semifinal resulted in Nebraska downing Penn State, 6-3, in a rematch of last year's championship game. Up by a run, Nebraska (31-27) brought in closer Luke Broderick in the seventh and received a two-run shot from Gabe Swansen in the bottom of the inning to extend its tournament win streak to eight games. The Nittany Lions (33-23) clubbed back-to-back home runs in the fourth.

Baseball Tournament: Day 4 Update

OMAHA, Neb. — Friday at the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai produced one result on the day due to inclement weather.

In the morning, USC recorded a dramatic 6-5 win over Washington in walk-off fashion. In the bottom ninth, Adrian Lopez doubled down the right field line to score Brayden Dowd and Ethan Hedges, who beat a tag at home plate. Washington's AJ Guerrero made history with his 43rd career home run, breaking the school's career record.

USC (25-21) finished 1-1 in pool play while Washington (29-28) went 0-2 on the week.

The evening game between No. 1 Oregon and No. 8 Nebraska was delayed by rain then postponed. That contest will be the first of three played on Saturday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, starting at 9 a.m. CT. The winner advances to play No. 9 seed Penn State in the semifinals at 5 p.m. tomorrow, which will be preceded by a semifinal featuring No. 2 UCLA and No. 3 Iowa at 1 p.m.

Due to inclement weather, tonight’s pool play game between Oregon and Nebraska, delayed by rain, will move to Saturday with first pitch at 9 a.m.

In addition, the order of Saturday’s semifinals will be switched with new start times. The revised schedule tomorrow at Charles Schwab Field Omaha is:

Baseball Tournament: Day 3 Update

OMAHA, Neb. — Four games were on the bill Thursday at the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai. At the end of the night, another semifinal slot was filled.

In the opener, No. 2 seed UCLA defeated No. 7 seed Michigan, 7-5. The Bruins (41-15) scored three runs in the bottom eighth to secure the win and finish 2-0 in pool play. Big Ten Player of the Year Roch Cholowsky blasted his 22nd home run of the season while for Michigan (33-23), Greg Pace Jr. connected on a 443-foot home run to deep center.

In game two, No. 9 Penn State bookend runs to triumph over No. 4 seed USC, 2-1. The Nittany Lions (33-22) scored in the first inning then pushed across the winning run in the ninth on Nate Voss's two-out, solo shot to left field. Starter Caden Aoki struck out seven over seven innings for USC (34-21). The win gave Penn State a 2-0 record in pool play and a spot in the semifinals.

No. 1 seed Oregon made its Big Ten Tournament debut with a 4-2 win over Michigan State. The second-ranked Ducks (42-13) ran their win streak to 11 games behind the arm of pitcher Ian Umlandt, who allowed four hits over 6.2 innings. Anson Aroz turned in three hits and 3 RBI. The Spartans closed their season with a 28-27 mark. The game was the ninth-straight of the tournament decided by three-runs or less.

The night ended with Indiana shutting out Iowa, 5-0, in a game that ended just after midnight local time. Indiana starter Cole Gilley threw six innings of four-hit ball while offensively, Deven Taylor had a big night with three hits (including his 18th homer of the season) and 4 RBI. Indiana improved to 32-24 and Iowa dropped to 33-21-1.

Friday's schedule features USC versus Washington at 9 a.m. CT, followed by Oregon-Nebraska at 6 p.m. with a semifinal berth on the line.

Baseball Tournament: Day 2 Update

OMAHA, Neb. — The second day of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai. brought more pool play as three games were contested at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

No. 2 seed UCLA started the day by defeating No. 11 seed Illinois, 8-6. The game featured four lead changes and two ties. The Bruins (40-15) used nine pitchers and received a 3-for-3 performance from Phoenix Call to notch their 40th win of the season.

Drake Wescott homered for Illinois (30-24), which finished with a 1-1 pool record for the tournament.

In the their first meeting since 1923, No. 9 seed Penn State prevailed over No. 5 seed Washington, 5-3. PSU pitching held Washington to four hits through seven innings before AJ Guerrero connected on a two-run shot in the eighth, moving into a tie for first place on the school's all-time home run list (42).

Wednesday's action closed with No. 3 Iowa triumphing over No. 10 Rutgers, 4-3. Starter Cade Obermueller threw seven innings of 4-hit ball, striking out 10 batters and reaching 96 mph on the radar gun for the Hawkeyes (33-20-1). Teammate Risley Miles had a three-hit night as did Big Ten batting champion Trevor Cohen for Rutgers (29-28).

With their wins today, UCLA and Iowa won their respective pools and will meet in the semifinals on Saturday.

OMAHA, Neb. – The Big Ten Conference has announced a schedule change to the 2025 Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai.

With inclement weather in the forecast, first pitch for three pool play games on Thursday will move up by one hour. The new start times are 9 a.m. CT for UCLA versus Michigan, 1 p.m. for USC-Penn State and 5 p.m. for Oregon-Michigan State.

In addition, the Iowa-Indiana contest, originally scheduled for Friday, will be played at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

All four games Thursday will be carried by the Big Ten Network.

OMAHA, Neb. — A new format and an expanded field greeted teams as the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai began Tuesday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. This year's event features 12 teams for the first time along with pool play.

In the opening game, No. 11 seed Illinois edged No. 7 seed Michigan, 6-5, in 10 innings. The Fighting Illini (30-23) scored three runs in the first inning before the Wolverines (32-22) stormed back to tie it at 5-5 on Noah Miller's two-run blast in the eighth. Jacob Schroeder homered in the tenth to end Illinois' five-game tournament losing streak to Michigan.

In the second game, No. 10 seed Rutgers opened a 5-0 lead and didn't look back in knocking off No. 6 seed Indiana, 5-2. Ty Doucette went 3-for-4 for the Scarlet Knights (29-27), who cleared the fences three times. Devin Taylor mashed his 17th home run of the season for the Hoosiers (31-24).

The nightcap saw No. 8 seed Nebraska rally to defeat No. 12 seed Michigan State, 5-4. The Cornhuskers (29-27) pushed the tying run across the plate in the ninth before Robby Bolin delivered an RBI single in the 10th. Big Ten Pitcher of the Year Joseph Dzierwa struck out six batters over six innings for the Spartans (28-26).

Pool play continues on Wednesday with UCLA meeting Illinois, Penn State taking on Washington and Iowa meeting Rutgers.

Big Ten Conference Announces Baseball Postseason Awards

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced Tuesday baseball awards winners for the 2025 season. Voting was conducted by the conference’s head coaches and included, for the first time, a Defensive Player of the Year Award and an All-Defensive Team.

UCLA sophomore shortstop Roch Cholowsky (Rock chuh-LAU-skee) was named Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Michigan State junior Joseph Dzierwa (Ger-wa) earned Pitcher of the Year honors and Indiana first baseman Jake Hanley received the Freshman of the Year Award. Oregon’s Mark Wasikowski was voted Coach of the Year by his peers.

Cholowsky has produced a .371 batting average with 20 home runs and 63 RBI in 54 games. His home run total is the most by a Bruin since 2009. A native of Chandler, Ariz., Cholowsky paces the Big Ten with a 1.274 OPS and a .511 on-base percentage. He also ranks 10^th in NCAA fielding percentage (.981) and is a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award, presented to the top amateur baseball player in the nation.

A 6-foot-8, left-handed starter, Dzierwa sports an 8-3 record with a 2.31 ERA and 98 strikeouts over 85.2 innings pitched. The Haskins, Ohio native has held opponents to a .193 batting average and was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week four times, matching a conference season record. A Golden Spikes Award semifinalist, Dzierwa is the second Spartan to be named Big Ten Pitcher of the Year and the first since 2011.

A starter in all 54 games, Hanley leads Big Ten freshmen with 71 hits, 14 home runs and 52 RBI. This season Hanley has slashed .338/.434/.590 and compiled a 1.024 OPS. The Mason, Ohio product was twice named Big Ten Freshman of the Week. He becomes the third Indiana player to be named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and the second Hoosier in three years to receive the honor.

Wasikowski led Oregon to a share of the conference regular season title in the Ducks’ first season in the Big Ten. Oregon paces the Big Ten with 41 wins and has been nationally ranked the entire season, climbing as high as No. 2 in the Perfect Game poll. Wasikowski’s squad is the No. 1 seed for the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai, which began today and runs through Sunday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Neb.

The Big Ten also recognized 17 Sportsmanship Award recipients, honoring student-athletes who distinguished themselves through sportsmanship, ethical behavior, academics and citizenship.

Big Ten Conference Announces 2025 Baseball Tournament Bracket

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced Saturday the bracket for the 2025 Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai, scheduled for May 20-25 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. Omaha will be hosting the tournament for the eighth time since 2014.

The 12-team tournament will determine the conference’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Oregon and UCLA clinched a share of the Big Ten Championship on the last day of the season Saturday with Oregon earning the No. 1 seed based on a tiebreaker.

This year’s tournament will incorporate pool play with four groups consisting of three teams each. Should pool play produce identical records, the highest-seeded team in the tie would advance. The four pool winners will meet in the single-elimination semifinals on May 24, followed by the championship game on May 25.

LOS ANGELES — UCLA won a share of the Big Ten Baseball Championship with an 11-1 win over Northwestern in seven innings at Jackie Robinson Stadium Saturday.

The 14th-ranked Bruins (39-15, 22-8 Big Ten) took two of three games from Northwestern over the weekend to earn a share of the title. UCLA will be the No. 2 seed for this week's Big Ten Tournament Presented by IFS.ai in Omaha.

Coach John Savage's team captured the regular season title in its first season of Big Ten play.

The Ducks (41-13, 22-8 Big Ten) swept a three-game series from the Hawkeyes to make the championship possible. Oregon won a tiebreaker over UCLA to earn the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Big Ten Tournament Presented by IFS.ai in Omaha this week.

Oregon Favored in Big Ten Baseball Preseason Poll

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Oregon, coming off an appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals, has been tabbed the favorite to win the 2025 Big Ten Baseball Championship according to the Big Ten Preseason Poll released Wednesday. Balloting was conducted by the conference’s 17 head coaches.

Coaches also selected three student-athletes from their respective squads to comprise the 51-member Players to Watch List.

Oregon, Nebraska and Indiana occupy the top three spots in the poll, all three programs participated in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. UCLA, Michigan and USC round out the poll which projected the top six spots.

In preseason Top 20 polls, Oregon is ranked 12th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and D1Baseball, 14th by USA Today and Perfect Game, and 19th by Baseball America. Nebraska is rated 24^th by the NCBWA and D1Baseball while Indiana is ranked 25th by Baseball America and the NCBWA.

The Big Ten Players to Watch List features 13 players who earned All-Big Ten honors last season, including four from the first team — Illinois’ Jacob Schroeder, Indiana’s Devin Taylor, Maryland’s Eddie Hacopian and Michigan’s Mitch Voit.

The Big Ten baseball season commences Friday with Big Ten games beginning March 7.
