She currently holds 609, which is third among all active Division I players in that category.</li><li style="text-align: left;">Already the owner of Indiana’s all-time aces record, setter Camryn Haworth became Indiana’s all-time leader in assists (during the rally-scoring era), after recording 28 assists against Iowa to take her career tally to 3,727. Haworth surpassed Megan Tallman’s previous record of 3,711 assists. &nbsp;</li><li style="text-align: left;">Two weeks remain in the regular season, and this week features four key matchups for Big Ten opponents in the Top 25. No. 6 Wisconsin welcomes No. 16 Minnesota to Madison on Wednesday for a 9 p.m. ET first serve on Big Ten Network. Two days later, Washington announced a sold-out Alaska Airlines Arena, shattering the Washington volleyball attendance record as 9,768 fans watched the Huskies vs. the Huskers on Big Ten Network. The Saturday night match drew an average of 286,000 viewers on BTN.&nbsp;</li><li>Illinois’ Raina Terry surpassed 2,000 career kills in a 3-2 win over then-No. 20 USC on Friday. It was Illinois’ first win over a ranked opponent this season. On Nov. 1, Terry became the Fighting Illini’s all-time leader in aces, points and kills. Terry is one of just two Big Ten active players with over 2,000 kills, second to only Ohio State’s Emily Londot, who is second among all active Division I players with 2,129 kills. Terry’s 2,016 career kills are fourth among all active Division I players.&nbsp;</li><li>Nebraska has won 21 matches in a row, dating back to Sept. 3. Seventeen of the 21 wins have been sweeps. Nebraska is 9-0 against opponents ranked in the AVCA Top 25 at match time this season and a program-best 6-0 against opponents in the top 10.&nbsp;</li><li>Washington, who is receiving votes for the fifth straight week, topped 14th-ranked Minnesota last week for its first ranked road win since 2021. It was Washington’s second Top-20 win in three matches.</li><li>2,857 fans attended the Indiana vs. Purdue match on Nov. 8, setting an Indiana attendance record at Wilkinson Hall.&nbsp;</li><li>Three Big Ten teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally in blocks per set. Wisconsin leads the nation, averaging 3.09 blocks per set, while USC is fourth (2.95) and Oregon is eighth (2.86).&nbsp;</li><li>Penn State leads the Big Ten and is fourth nationally, averaging 14.56 kills per set. Nebraska is seventh nationally in this category, averaging 14.28 kills per set, while Purdue is 15th with 14.07 kills/set and Wisconsin is 21st with 13.85 kills per set.&nbsp;</li><li>Three ranked matches are scheduled for this week, starting with #2 Nebraska vs. #16 Minnesota on Thursday on Big Ten Network, followed by #23 USC vs. #6 Wisconsin. The Badgers own a nine-match win streak and prepare to host No. 2 Nebraska on Friday on BTN.&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align: left;">With Wisconsin’s win vs. Indiana last Thursday, Head Coach Kelly Sheffield became the winningest coach in program history with 306 Wisconsin career victories.&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align: left;">Penn State has a 16-match Big Ten regular season win streak, which is the longest active streak in the conference. Their last regular season loss in conference play came on Nov. 5, 2023. Penn State will host Michigan and Iowa this week, and will look to extend its 14 match win streak inside Rec Hall.&nbsp;</li><li style="text-align: left;">Michigan State earned its first ranked-win since Oct. 28, 2023 with a five-set reverse sweep over then-No. 16 USC on Thursday. It was the Spartans’ first Big Ten win of the 2024 season.</li><li style="text-align: left;">The Spartans’ Julia Bishop was named an AVCA Coaches 4 Coaches Scholarship Recipient on Wednesday. Booth was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Monday (10/21).&nbsp;</li><li>The Big Ten has three teams among the top 10 nationally in hitting percentage. During Penn State’s 10-match win streak dating back to its non-conference slate, Mruzik is hitting .292 with 5.29 kills and 2.91 digs per set.</li><li>Purdue’s Raven Colvin moved into second all-time in Boilermaker program history with 572 career total blocks. Colvin is fourth nationally, averaging 1.63 blocks per set and is fifth in the NCAA with 114 total blocks this season.&nbsp;</li><li>USC’s 2.96 blocks per set lead the Big Ten and rank fifth nationally. Against No. 16 USC, the junior had 17 kills, nine digs and two blocks. Then posted 13 digs and a season-best 25 kills in a come-from-behind, five-set victory over No. 24 Washington for her 30th career double-double. Colyer is the second player from the Big Ten to be named National Player of the Week this season, with Purdue’s Eva Hudson earning the honor in week one.&nbsp;</li><li>The Big Ten’s four teams in this week’s top 10 are the most of any conference. The ACC has three and the SEC, Big East and Big 12 each have one.&nbsp;</li><li>USC broke its home women’s volleyball attendance record on Sunday in a 3-2 win over UCLA, welcoming 7,303 fans to the Galen Center. 7,303 is also the highest number of fans in all USC vs. UCLA volleyball matchups on either campus.</li><li>Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, Phoebe Awoleye, tied the Minnesota program match record with 14 blocks on Saturday in just three sets against Maryland. She set the program record for most blocks in a three-set match in Gopher history.&nbsp;</li><li>Nebraska and Penn State remain undefeated in Big Ten play (6-0). Nebraska topped #10 Purdue and Rutgers last week, extending their nation-leading home win streak to 36 matches. Penn State won a pair on the road last week at Michigan State and Indiana. The Nittany Lions visit Ohio State on Friday and host #14 Minnesota on Sunday in week four of conference play. The Huskers will play two on the road, at Michigan State Friday and at Ohio State on Saturday.&nbsp;</li><li>Saturday’s Ohio State vs. Nebraska match will be the first-ever match on NBC and the first of three Big Ten matches airing on NBC this season.&nbsp;</li><li>No. 10 Purdue hosts Indiana on Saturday for its first of two matches inside Mackey Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network. Purdue announced that both matches are sold out, eyeing an attendance record of 14,876, bettering the previous record by nearly 4,000 fans. The Purdue volleyball team last played a match inside Mackey Arena in 2016 and is among the many teams who have transitioned matches into larger facilities to accommodate more fans.&nbsp;</li><li>The fourth week of conference play begins with a pair of matches on BTN on Wednesday evening. Illinois will host Indiana at 7 p.m. ET and Northwestern will host Iowa at 9 p.m. ET, Additional ranked matches and TV matches this week include #9 Wisconsin vs. #11 Oregon on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on B1G+ and #3 Penn State vs. #14 Minnesota on Sunday on B1G+. BTN will carry Michigan State/#2 Nebraska and Ohio State/#3 Penn State on Friday, #10 Purdue vs. Indiana on Saturday and Michigan vs. #9 Wisconsin on Sunday.&nbsp;</li><li>The NCAA committee will unveil a top 16 ranking on Oct. 20, giving teams and fans an idea of seeding ahead of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. It will be the only committee ranking prior to the official NCAA selection show on Sunday following the conclusion of the regular season.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Shondell’s legacy already includes the highest rankings in program history, 23 All-Americans, four NCAA Regional Final berths, including a perfect record in the first round of the tournament.&nbsp;</li><li>Purdue’s 71 digs vs. Michigan State set a program record for a three-set match in the current 25-point scoring era. It was also the most digs by the Purdue defense in a three-set match since 2005.&nbsp;</li><li>Jess Mruzik was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the second-straight week. She is the first Penn State player to win back-to-back Big Ten Player of the Week awards since Haleigh Washington in 2017.</li><li>Nebraska and Penn State are the only two teams that are unbeaten through the first two weeks of Big Ten play. The sweep of Stanford was the first sweep over a top two team at home in program history and the first three-set win over Stanford since 2008.</li><li>Minnesota is first in the Big Ten and 11th nationally, averaging 17.29 digs/set. The Gophers have held opponents under .200 hitting for the last seven straight matches.&nbsp;</li><li>On Friday, Sept. 20 against Troy, Sarah Franklin surpassed the 500 career digs milestone and has now surpassed 1,500 kills and 500 digs in her career. Franklin joins just two other Badgers who have achieved this feat: Amy Lee (1994-97) and Brittany Dolgner (2006-09).</li><li>Washington finished its non-conference slate a perfect 10-0, just one of seven teams across Division I with an unblemished record. The last time the Huskies went 10-0 in non-conference play, they went on to win the Pac-12 Conference Championship and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Washington embarks on its inaugural Big Ten season hosting Illinois on Friday and Indiana on Saturday.&nbsp;</li><li>Purdue (2), USC (3) and Oregon (5) rank among the top-10 nationally in blocks per set.
